There is a bigger issue, the date is output as UTC but the comparison is
local, so, do you prefer to always use local time or UTC?

It is an unique ID but it's not the FLARM id because there are,
althought few, FLARMs and FLARM-compatible devices programmed with ICAO
codes and "unknown" codes.

You may use it opaquely but rest assured that it's unique.

Do you need the FLARM ID, also?

I have all the data about each plane: registration, type, etc.
